My favorite photo of Dad and Nichelle Nichols on set. The importance of Nichelle's legacy cannot be over-emphasized. She was much loved and will be missed.
Leonard Nimoy and Nichelle Nichols share a moment on the Star Trek set.

BFF had 5 kids/5 years. She wanted a tubal ligation after 5th. Her request had to be signed by hubby & approved by hospital board. Denied bc she wasn’t 30. Within a week hubby had a vasectomy she didn’t have to approve. When women talk about choice it’s about more than abortions.

Ladies, shit is about to turn into our worst nightmares, especially in places like Texas. 1. Do NOT discuss your plans *or* offer help to anyone specific on social media. 2. DELETE your period tracker apps, even in Apple Health. 3. No electronic records. Use encrypted messaging.

My (step)dad died a week ago today, and my heart hurts. My first daddy died when I was 2.5yo. My dad has been in my life since I was almost 5. He's all I've ever known. He was only 67. It all seems so unfair.

This is my friend. This happened to her in front of other people. I’m not asking folks to take a bullet for a stranger. Just sit beside them or invite them to come sit with you. , sending you a big hug, brave heart. Wish I’d been there.

There have been many meditations, studies and first hand accounts around the catalysts for acts of extraordinary moral and physical courage. In the end, it seems the single greatest cause for the overwhelming number of the most selfless acts that humans can commit is Love.
