In D.C., Capitol Police are known for mass arrests —activist groups often go to the Capitol specifically for the photo op of having hundreds arrested for civil disobedience. But today, despite ample warning people were coming to storm the Capitol, that simply didn't happen

  DC doesn’t arrest and detain rioters anymore. The summer rioters were back on the streets the same night.
