What upsets/ saddens me most is that our electoral system has always been predicated on a good faith understanding that both sides accept the same rules, accept the same results, thus ensuring a peaceful transfer. Trump & GOP have forever undercut the system by choosing bad faith
Exactly the same for being a nation under the rule of law. This requires a general acceptance of the notion. What we have now is a nation in which half its voters do not respect, value, or accept laws as being some final arbiter.
Yet those same people will eviscerate the other side for the most minor transgression.
It's all about winning. How you play the game doesn't matter. That was my upbringing in Texas.
