I know. In Sonoma County, 1 hr north of San Francisco where I was raised, we always saw bats. Ditto in The Sierras. I don't know why I don't seem them around here. Not enough water?
Oh noooooooo. I watch a lady in Australia on YouTube rescue and rehab Flying Foxes and other species of bats. Such intelligent mammals!
Because of Covid, and scientists believing it started in bats, I have started to read articles about bats' strong immune systems and how they can resist Covid in their colonies. What do you thinks make them susceptible to fungal infections? Any cures in nature?
