I went to the grocery store this afternoon. As I was walking in I heard a woman yell to me from her car. I walked over and found an elderly woman and her husband. She cracked her window open a bit more, and explained to me nearly in tears that they are afraid to go in the store.

Thank you Rebecca. I'm thinking of my neighbors - she's a very active and healthy 75+ and her son (55?) has cancer. He's not on chemo but his treatment does weaken his immune system. I will go and tell them that I'll gladly do their grocery runs for them until this thing is over.

And you may find a new career. I did. Caregiving for Vulnerable Adults. The tiniest service is so meaningful. And I feel the spirits of my folks with me throughout each task.
