Oh, you mean the lichens, algae, cyanobacteria, slime molds, and fungi.. I guess it depends on how sullen the kid is. We may need to get one step past the edge effect (OK, maybe several steps, recalling the recalcitrant Charlie who NEVER found the woods interesting! LOL!
