Layer 1 EVM chain: transactions forms one queue. Layer 2: isolate a part of VM state and spawn a separate queue for it, regularly update the state transitions in root chain. ZK-rollup: stamp a verifiable seal to the state transition. RChain's concurrency: no queue at all.

Problem of Layer 2 is no atomic finalization of TXs btw Layer 2 systems. No atomic finalization = not transactional.

☝️ Following on from your tweet this week stating "The most outsized returns this decade will come from the crypto projects that are trustless, permissionless, and composible." They'll also be queueless and therefore limitless. Only is in this category 🔥

Is this a joke? Ethereum doesn’t scale and slows down as you add hardware. Any kind of sequential virtual machine can’t scale effectively as you get more contention for resources. The only way is concurrency. The only way is Rchain.

… & also concurrent, enabling linear scaling. The only way to break the security, decentralisation & speed trilemma is to make TXs order insensitive, i.e. we only care if they are conflicting or not, but their orders are irrelevant. Only can make this magic happen!
