We need (urgently and desperately)wholesale and widespread police reform. We demand police be 190% accountable for EVERY action. We demand the be educated, properly trained, be emotionally and mentally stable and have the social skills to execute a very complex job.

It's easy to spot the power mad sheriffs and police chiefs: they're the ones wearing 5 stars. The highest ranking US military officer only wears 4 stars.
Maybe the LA County Sherriff's Dept. should stop sending it's supervisors to train in Turkey?
Amen, and I hope Sheriff Villanueva gets all that's coming to him & more. I know this only scratches the surface & many more in these positions use it to punish & bully; but it's a start & TY #
