I often wonder, what have we missed out because of racism. What if the Dr who was going to cure cancer was a black kid in an inner city school and never got the chance. It hurts everyone when we waste potential.

I wonder more on what our racism has cost the world over history the course of history....natives, the African continent etc. What would the world look like today if humans were built to value just a little more sympathy and less greed.

Outside of an economic lens, I think a lot about our national obsession with individual freedom while completely ignoring collective freedom. We assume they are at odds instead of in a hierarchy where damage to collective freedoms trickle down to damage the freedom of individuals

Being white is a *relative privilege*; it provides some social advantage, so it's like being able to walk or hear-that's technically a privilege (an advantage over someone without it), but it changes the original meaning of "being privileged", which was having ALL the advantages.
