How do you sync this across hosts? Local data is great if performance is more important than consistency, reliability, or scale, but I wouldn't recommend this as a general rule for what most people store in "databases."

This is cool af but how does this horizontally scale? How does this handle backup data? What data loss risks does this have if the host explodes taking everything with it? There are so many questions I have about this as a data engineer

the idea of moving data plane complexity into control plane write paths is something we do a lot (our data plane can’t connect to the control plane at all, even). It’s good.
