Is esports a sport? I've felt for a while now that its a seperate thing. Its different yet has many similar qualities. Shouldnt we just let esports define themselves? Why do we need to be sports?

"Rankings create powerful incentives to manipulate data...rankings depend heavily on unaudited, self-reported data, there is no way to ensure either the accuracy of the information or the reliability of the resulting rankings."

Glad to see to companies putting out free content: Microsoft Esports Teacher Academy (META) is a four-part series teaching you the role of esports in education and career pathways.

I can't be the only person that brushes their teeth before a zoom meeting, right? I don't know why but I swear I either brush or use mouthwash before my virtual meetings. My family just laughs at my habit.

This is pretty wild! Dell's most expensive computer build is nearly $400k. I wonder what this type of machine is used for? I can guess but I would love to see some real use cases. The specs are crazy. Saw on reddit and had to share.

Health is HUGE in professional esports. Thats trickling down to the competitive college and high school players too, which is awesome. Health affects performance. Now I need to go drink my afternoon snack!

So much science and math in surfing. I made this board design using a CAD program. Every spec and curve is designed exactly how I want it, for my body, my style of surfing, and for the waves I will be surfing it in.

Feels great to be back on campus! I'm not complaining, I was lucky to be able to work from home and I do get more done but I realized about 6 months into covid quarantine that I needed face to face interaction.

Had to get my oil changed yesterday. Instead of the usual TV/Magazines they had video games! This mechanic shop is onto something. They found another way to keep people occupied while waiting. Tell your local dealership! #

Did anyone own the NEO GEO AES in the early to mid 90s? It was $650 and games were $200. I remember me and my friends staring at it for hours in awe at the local game store because it was like 4-6x the cost of Nintendo/Sega.

Who remembers Netscape Composer? Back in the late 90s this was competitive with Macromedia's Dreamweaver 1, MS Frontpage, and Adobe Pagemill. It was also free so as a poor college kid me and my friends had access to this and notepad.

Pokemon card sells for $336k. Its crazy that a card costs as much as some homes. In the 80s I was convinced my baseball cards were going to pay for my college. Im still holding out hope.

25 highest grossing media franchises of all time. Not too surprised by Pokemon, my kids pushed that one to the top!
