I am disappointed & disheartened to learn that #HongKong court ruled today that entering into a civil union is not one of the basic rights of #LGBT #Hongkongers. There is a long road ahead and do not lose hope. #MKcase #HumanRights
As it is now the situation, certain rights and benefits are accorded to couples who were married or entered into a #civilunion overseas, but it is impossible for eligible couples to perform a marriage or enter into a civil union in #HongKong. This is a fundamental flaw.
