    GDPR - dismissed by some Americans a while back as a bureaucratic EU mess - now being seen as a global benchmark for data protection

    There’s a couple of quite significant disclosures in this Facebook release other than the number of people whose data was harvested by Cambridge Analytica 1) App devs have been able to access private event information 2) Most ppl’s public profile information has been scraped
