It’s becoming clear that the Mayor & MTA leadership are using the pandemic to permanently dismantle bus lines and service, notwithstanding $1b in fed relief for restoring service. This is an outrage. If you care about Muni, speak up before it’s too late.https://www.sfchronicle.com/sf/article/Muni-will-restore-some-services-in-August-16328217.php …

How is Chesa even so high on your list? There are so many people in this city who changing out would actually have an effect. Instead you just spend all your energy on the DA, like Gascon was really that different and whoever comes after will really be that different.

Starting with the lowest common denominator then working up the list. Please share your list Phil on who you believe makes the quickest change in SF. If you care to share. Very interested to know how you think or maybe we agree to disagree it is America

Want to start at the root? Well, why do people commit crime? Almost always due lack of resources. Food, $, mental services. If you’re interested in reducing crime, the logical thing to do would be getting resources to people in your community, not taking out the guy ur mad won

We are providing the dollars and that isn’t working so some of the root cause can’t be ignored so that should have some sight on that problem. 36 criminal counts against a criminal who reoffends and kills someone is ok by your thinking?

1. We are not providing the dollars. 2. You seem to also believe that placing people in concrete boxes with metal bars is humane, acceptable, and somehow going to remediate people. This is so wrong and flawed and we have decades of proof to support it

What are these dollars helping? Sure covers your points of Food and Shelter - Resources are corrupt in my opinion - More can be done.https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/S-F-has-an-unprecedented-1-1-billion-to-spend-16318448.php …

More can be done for sure. But imprisoning people who are clearly just desperate to get by in a society that has made no place for them- makes the situation worse. Prison is traumatizing and does not make people less likely to commit crime. It’s pointless, just hides people away
