    Attacks on the FBI right now are same strategy used to discredit climate change scientists, evolution teachers, sex assault accusers, big tobacco opponents, economists, etc., etc. It's the same playbook every time...

    Missing point. This is a common right-wing tactic on any issue, be is global warming, creationism, whatever. First, undermine the credibility of all opponents. That's step #1 in the playbook to be executed EVERY TIME.

    Strzok wasn't only critical of Trump He once texted this about Hillary Clinton, "I’m worried about what happens if HRC is elected." He also referred to Chelsea Clinton, as "self-entitled," & Bernie Sanders as an "idiot." This doesn't make the FBI corrupt! It makes them Human!

    "Conservatives" have mastered the art of spurious arguments. They have honed this skill over decades of argumentation about creationism, Civil War apologetics, conspiracies, etc. It's an entire worldview built on justification of lies & they have mastered it.

    Repubs will keep hammering at special council until they have declared all but Trump loyalists or wholly inept people as valid investigators. Investigators are not judges, they don't even need to be unbaised, evidence still has to stand on it's own.

    NO, it says: "Women's *median* income has more or less flattened since 1979 after inflation" I assume this implies that the rise is only in the mean.

    That's not what the article says. Median wages for women rose sharply.

    #1 We don't need more babies. #2 Yes, telling people to have more kids, but enacting policies that make it difficult is very stupid, yet totally typical for Republicans.

    In a press conference Thursday, House Speaker Paul Ryan urged Americans to have more babies -- despite years of supporting policies that do nothing to make prenatal care, family leave, education, and other support systems available to families.

    Real solution is distribution of capital ownership, so that profits get much more evenly distributed:

    Wages of the typical worker have risen slightly over the last four decades, much less than productivity. But it's hard to see how simply slowing productivity growth would have helped

    Also the problem of performing to what is easiest to measure. Example: robo-customer support reduces measurable cost at companies, but ADDs UN-measured costs for users. The gain in profits is counted as a positive, while it actually may be less efficient overall (cost to users)

    Economic output is an important measure. It isn't intended to be any sort of comprehensive gauge of well-being.Think of it like weight when determining a person's health. It's hard to imagine making an assessment without knowing weight, but you also couldn't do it on weight alone

    So many "conservatives" claim support for "ideas of the Founders", yet the Founders were clearly and strongly opposed to "standing armies". Yet I hear no "conservatives" lamenting what many founders considered the worst possible tyranny!
