    Great news for 🇪🇺! & have approved the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine. Now we can start first steps in getting under control permanently, though it will take several months before a critical mass of people get shots. 🇪🇪 starts vaccination on 27.12.

    Today we add an important chapter to a European success story, by making available the 1st vaccine for Europeans. More will come. It will be available to all EU countries at the same time, on the same conditions

    We celebrate anniversary today. Joining 10 yrs ago was a very important milestone for 🇪🇪. pandemic has shown that openness, cooperation, sharing of info & best practices are key elements to solve global crisis. Tech & digital solutions need more attention.

    As I will remain in self-isolation until 12.12, I will not be able to attend 🇪🇺 meeting this week. I have asked the PM of 🇱🇻, , to represent 🇪🇪’s positions at the EUCO meeting. I feel well & my last test results came back negative. Let´s stay safe!

    I found out today that on Wednesday I had been in contact with a person who later tested positive for COVID-19. I wore a mask & kept my distance. I will remain in self-isolation & follow all Health Board instructions. I do not have any symptoms & feel fine. Let´s stay safe!

    At today’s meeting, I announced that Estonia, together w/ Norway, is ready to take up the 🇦🇫 penholdership in UNSC. We support a peaceful & and secure Afghanistan. We stand prepared to cooperatively & effectively continue to contribute to this cause.
