    Saying the quiet part out loud. This guy has quite the track record of defending pedophilia, supporting eugenics and now saying clearly he thinks moral worth correlates with IQ.

    The answer is perfectly presented here. It's a way to justify outcomes, regardless of the actual causes of those outcomes. It's an attempt to build bad policy directions on bad ideas built upon bad reasoning.

    The thing about gifted programs in schools is that you grow up to realize that having a high IQ doesn't necessarily mean you'll do anything crazy. There are a lot of geniuses doing regular jobs. I think too much weight is placed on IQ.

    Note that black (and other) men can be given to corporations or used by the state and forced to work for symbolic wages at best. Read the 13th amendment and see it only outlawed certain forms of slavery, making specific exception for enslavement as punishment.

    Given the areas mentioned, I can't see why this view would be contentious given that I've frequently seen the same criticism from academics in those very fields about others.
