    is no ordinary achievement. It’s a novel with so much warmth in the dark, told so beautifully, with so many characters that will go on living you, that it feels like a truly great American novel. Pity He’s written a book to love and to live up to.

    I’m not sure what I’m more excited by: how refers to me by post, or the fact that he’s sent me his new book which literally everyone says is AMAZING. I’ve started it, I’m loving it. It’s perfect reading for your panic room in beautiful physical copy, ebook or audio.

    Covid Tip 1: I’ve started ringing my parents pretending to be a government representative who’s checking they’re staying in the house. It’s nice to be able to provide the clear messaging the government has failed to.
