Martial law extension

By Rappler @rapplerdotcom
No doubt we need peace and order in Mindanao. But we don’t need martial law for that. Civilian agencies have the power and capacity to do it if they just do their jobs.

Things we must never accept as ‘normal’: - A president mouthing nonsense - People getting killed - Media being silenced - MRT regularly breaking down - Politicians getting away with their crimes - Martial Law in Mindanao or any part of the country

This was a checkpoint in the Lugait-Iligan boundary when martial law was first declared in May 2017. Passengers were made to alight the bus, present an ID, and board again. This worsened the already bad traffic due to repairs in the highway. The trip was 2 hours more than usual.

Where is the concrete data that continuing Martial Law in Mindanao has reaped the benefits they are talking about? You are using taxpayer money. Show the data.

Charter Change is moving at such an amazingly quick pace through the lower house, Martial Law in Mindanao is extended once again, plundering politicians have been acquitted ever so nonchalantly, I... honestly don't know what to look forward to anymore.
