@grovesNL Kort vraagje, hoe zit het met gfx-rs en de shaders? Moet je per backend andere shaders aanleveren of zit er een cross-compiler bij, en zoja dat is vast geen Rust code dan right?

Yeah, currently Firefox and Chrome accept SPIR-V for WebGPU until WGSL support is available, so they're using SPIRV-Cross for now

So in wgpu-rs/gfx we're using SPIRV-Cross, but plan to eventually switch to Naga (https://github.com/gfx-rs/naga , pure Rust) to handle WGSL conversions into our own internal representation, then convert from that to {SPIR-V,HLSL,MSL,GLSL,DXIL?,AIR?}
