Currently cleaning up deps. Kicking out the whole cocoa-rs and foundation crates. They just wrap untyped id traits with msg_send and it makes it harder to read the apple Docs. No added value, just compile complexity. Had to bypass it already anyway a lot. So bye.
I agree that the mac wrappers are pretty bad, but am a fan of Winapi. A lot more thought went into getting that right than you might think.

Yeah i'm actually fairly happy with winapi. It has real purpose, unlike cocoa-rs/metal-rs those more or less just obfuscate the obj-c API with a layer without adding type-safety much.

I might still just cut-n-paste a subselection of it if it feels like a doable thing.
