    The production quality on this is amazing, did a great job! I apparently talked a lot more than I remember, but if you want 1hr45m on metaverse and tech extrapolation and a *teeny* bit on Playable Worlds ;) check it out!

    A bit late to this, but... when I saw that Meta had neglected to put a personal bubble on users in their social VR world, I just sort of eyerolled; after all, the rest of social VR figured that out years ago. Then I saw the way they're doing it is with COLLISION. Noooo!

    As it happens, a sniper is actually one of my common examples. Nobody wants to get shot in a game by a sniper five miles away they never saw and couldn't avoid. It's not fun. We should only chase concurrency, scale, and lofty stats if they enhance user experience.

    I seem to have mostly "here's why that's hard" quotes in here. That said, let me emphasize: we can make amazing metaverse stuff *without* solving most of these problems. They are not prerequisites!
