Do not support a law based on whether you support its current use. Rather, evaluate it based on the precedent it sets. Simply ask yourself - what if the party I most dislike used this law in the same way against its opponents.

It’s REALLY important for everyone to understand the truth that designing your city for cars fails for everyone, including drivers. Designing a city with CHOICES in how to get around works better for everyone, including drivers. Think we could we get to 1 million views of this?

Pierre Dorion has traded for the top forward on the market in the summer (DeBrincat), signed the most covered free agent available in unrestricted free agency (Giroux) and grabbed the top defenceman available at the deadline (Chychrun). Incredible work by the #Sens GM.

When you're listening to a song in a playlist full of massive stars and you hear a song that just guts you it's so beautiful and amazing and it turns out it's by a Canadian artist. And the video's even better. Wouldn't Be Home youtu.be/LPqdDuqczSQ

Time is key. I lost a stable job 4 years ago. I thought I was screwed career wise. I eventually landed a new job. It was part-time. Eventually full time. Now transitioning to a new job that is even better than original job. More pay, nicer people, better growth prospects.

Negative feelings come from negative judgments about things. But how can we be certain that something that happened to us is actually a negative experience?

Kind of love this bare-hearted honesty here on Twitter. May the openness you #Manifest return to you manyfold, Ryan.

Today marks 50 years since the Paris Peace Accords were signed announcing U.S. military withdrawal from Vietnam and Laos. Say HI to our deminers in Laos 👋👋👋 They're working very hard to rectify the damage from the war and protect Lao communities and their livelihoods!

Call me old school, but I cringe every time I see a hockey player stumping for a gambling site. And it sucks to be watching the game with my kids and have gambling dominate every commercial break. Surely the can do better than this.

“For what matters in life is not whether we receive a round of applause; what matters is whether we have the courage to venture forth despite the uncertainty of acclaim.” From A Gentleman in Moscow. Loved this book.

I'll never forget the architect in Halifax showing me his 'green' house with all the things: solar, etc. I asked him *where* his house was: that truly matters to mitigating the climate crisis. Smaller homes in walkable 'hoods win this debate every time.

The big reveal that, unfortunately, isn’t. Should we even expect that social media platforms protect free speech?? Or that they represent a balanced cross section of voices?? Honest question. Aren’t they just businesses whose primary purpose is making $$$??
