    Two huge truck loads of meter-sized boulders were expected for a playground construction project elementary school this morning. Thanks to , delivery was confirmed at 7:31 and 7:32 am from the comfort of my kitchen.

    Denver's temperature has dropped to 20°, officially making this the city's largest October temperature drop on record. It's a 63° drop from 3pm yesterday, when Denver's temperature was 83°.

    This gorgeous watercolor! Usually my brain kicks into science mode when I see landscapes, and I’ve done plenty of science here. But when I look at this I see where my parents met and got married, my childhood in Honey Lake Valley, the place I left, home. Thank you !

    I forgot the 5th stage of trenching: Bury the evidence! The Lost River Range trenches are backfilled. Bye-bye lovely, fussed-over holes in the ground. led a tremendous effort with a collaborative cast of dozens. thank you all!

    1/ Oh Danno: A thread Seismologists sometimes bristle at the word “overdue.” But the Wasatch Fault has a devastating earthquake every 350 years or so and the last one was 350 years ago.
