    I lived in Canada. Paid 55% taxes and was told it’s a 2yr plus wait to find a primary care doctor. Got sick, spent three days in a row going to a clinic and waiting in line. Finally had to drive to Vermont and pay cash to see someone. That’s how Medicare for all works.

    It’s true! I live in Quebec, Canada and have been on a 5 year wait list for a primary care doctor! Took me 2.5 years to get an appointment with an endocrinologist.

    What will Canadians do when the US also adopts a socialist health care system?

    I hate to ask this, but my family needs help. My dad has spent almost 50 years paying into Canada's healthcare system, but now when he needs it most, it's failing him. Time is of the essence when it comes to cancer. We're seeking care in the US.
