I rarely post because I often think “my input probably isn’t useful or needed in this space/context” but i’m pretty ND, and I wonder if I would even worry about it if I wasn’t.

I hate that we have been conditioned to question ourselves or hold ourselves back in order to please the dominant neurotype! Timidity and second guessing yourself is not going to allow you free and authentic expression of your true self. And that fucking sucks.

I don’t let it hold me back in professional contexts about topics in which I have subject matter expertise-I just recognize that most situations don’t meet those criteria. I still think some degree of masking is healthy or at least necessary, but it’s possible I’m overcorrecting.
