I’m sorry you feel that way, but sounds like you went to the wrong university. The most useful skills I was taught was being able to pick up new CS/math topics, knowing approximately where to look, and especially documenting whatever we did and ended up making. Priceless imho.

My CS program (NYU) had a technical writing course. Didn’t go incredibly deep but gave me an appreciation for the discipline.
