YouTubers are amazingly creative. They find so many unique ways to transition to brilliant dot org, the great courses plus, and nord vpn.

This is 's password policy. * Max 16 chars * No spaces * Limited special characters * No repeating letters They've also disabled right-click, which makes it inconvenient/impossible to use a password manager. I bet they'll argue that this makes it more secure.

I just built a very simple maze generator: Implements a depth-first search algorithm with a recursive backtracker, and other such big words. Source: FP+TS

Correction: July 28 (Sunday) I’ll be speaking about Reducers and Transfucers, and will be deriving them from first-principles (no library knowledge needed!). Learn how to write faster cleaner array iteration using functional programming!

Someone, quick, port this to low-end microcontrollers!

Svelte is ❤️! Couple of rough edges, and no big-co backing, but it’s a solid indicator of what a react successor looks like.

The idea of course is to catch certain things at compile-time. For example, it’s perfectly safe to divide any number by a ‘non-zero number’ type, but dividing two primitive numbers could be dangerous. (Contrived example, I know.)

In TypeScript, it is possible to define a subset of a primitive type? For example, is it possible to define a ‘non-zero number’ type? I get that you can’t do it trivially - it almost flows from the definition of ‘primitive’. But is there any ‘complicated’ way of doing it?

    * Added `allPass` and `anyPass` - which lets you perform logical operations with predicate functions - both of which get compiled out at build time! * Verified to work with CRA. Good enough to be out of beta. Yay 1.0.0!

fast-fp.macro * Zero overhead FP library! * Compiles itself out of your bundles! * Uses babel-plugin-macros! Only two methods right now (`compose` and `pipe`), but I'll be happy to add more. Let me know if you're interested! /ht:

This looks like the kind of solution an enterprise architecture astronaut would dream up. Requires way too much effort, and fails at meeting basic expectations in the end anyway.

Wait, so microfrontends is an architecture style that disregards performance, even discourages sharing dependencies? The assumption that users and browsers won’t mind is flat-out wrong. Why would users want to bear the cost of organisations’ inability to communicate internally?

Here’s the crappy code behind it, though I can’t imagine why you’d be interested.

I did a thing with neural networks. (I have no idea what I’m doing.)

monocle-ts: The first TS library I've used that's actually pleasurable to work with, doesn't come in the way, and actually helps by catching errors early. Need to dig into the code to understand how to write good TS libraries.

A smarter type inference engine could help remove all this ceremony. TS could just statically look at the invoker, and figure out the argument type, without asking users to explicitly specify types, like the HM type system does. </soap_box>
