    Supply Chains in India depend a lot on road transportation which sadly hasn't been very well documented. A formal & informal economy exists which keeps our stuff moving across the country. Very well illustrated in the book Truck de India

    One of my favourite things I’ve read is that sometimes in films dogs have to be given CGI tails if they’re supposed to be acting angry or mean because they’re so happy that they’re doing a good job that they can’t keep their tails from wagging.

    The Statue of Hercules in Behistun is located on Mount Behistun, Iran. It was discovered in 1958, and is the only extant rock sculpture from the period of Seleucid control over the Iranian Plateau, that lasted from c. 312 BC to c. 140/139 BC

    Happy birthday to Piet Mondrian, who was born in 1872! When Mondrian saw Cubist paintings by Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso in 1911, he was inspired to go to Paris. “Tableau No. 2/Composition No. VII” (pictured) exemplifies Mondrian’s regard for the new technique.
