Do devteams share their best practices and knowledge when it comes to server management on launching days, maybe it is hardly transposable. It seems it is always the same predicted story.

There is always a flesh and blood person behind the name on your phone, doing their utmost best to provide you with all the details they have. I am astounded about the transparency and frequency with which we got updates on the matter and really applaud them for it. Respect!

Yeah I have nothing but respect for them. None of the issues are their fault they are doing a great job at communicating with the players and there are so many people shitting on them. I'm pissed off about the server's too but how is it this person's fault?

I wish this wasn't normal practice in our industry. A CM should be able to log off after 10 PM and let the cards fall where they may. Continued server instability all night? So be it. Agreed but I guess the issue with a launch like this is that “middle of the night” for one player is middle of the afternoon for someone in another part of the world. Is there not some way they could tag in another CM to cover the ‘night shift’ though?
