Any pointers to convos in news industry about labeling generated articles? Whole lot of "AI in news" generated articles in well-defined, formulaic narratives already (local sports stories, financial earnings disclosures, etc). Are pubs discussing industry-wide labelling?

And, importantly, any norms around labeling generated text for publications, school assignments? There certainly haven't been any adopted in the US to force disclosure for when you're *speaking* to software.

Realistically, how long until word processors have features like "insert bridge paragraph" or "generate conclusion"... it would analyze your writing in the document, or more broadly, and insert some appropriate transition in your style of writing? Prototypes out there already?

The next wave is coming; the US has a far lower vax rate and THAT MATTERS. I love this metaphor... so yeah, it'll soon be time to get out your raincoats again :-(

This chart is a wonderful example of editorial design decisions that significantly help tell a story - it's like x-ray vision to be able to see those 3 bumps making up the total case load. 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽

Some general thoughts for the end: every map is a projection of power. As the war progresses and as the intensity of information war increases maps will only gain in significance. And they will be crucial for establishing a settlement. Beware of maps bearing easy lines. 12/
