Well, Marxism
The entire concept of "hate speech" only exists in the sphere of Marxist ideology, with the intent of manipulation & control. ALL SPEECH IS FREE SPEECH & free speech is a fundamental principle of western civilization. I don't care if your feelings say otherwise.

RIGHT. Just because somebody "hates" something that is said, that speech is STILL protected under the 1st amendment. Plus I still live by the simply yet effective rule that sticks and stones may break my bones, but WORDS will never hurt me...

It's a tough call on freedom of speech but if you have someone who is neither moral nor decent targeting a group of people specifically to Inspire acts of violence against them then should that be allowed? It's not about not hurting feelings.

I only consider hate speech when it’s speech that specifically calls for violence against a group of people, or slander towards a race

It’s better when we speak with one voice, be it compromise or give and take when it involves the good of society and by default, our country. Too often it’s “Me and only me” and to hell with you. Dialogue is too selfish now.
