I might have my toxic union statements mixed up but didn't the Baltimore police union leadership issue a very "nice city you got there" statement, threatening to sit on their hands in exactly this way if they face accountability for misconduct?

It is a lack of leadership but the fact that this department has been allowed to run wild for so long, it will be extremely difficult to bring in ANYONE that the rank and file will listen to who will clean up the department. The union is completely out of control. This
