Best thing about the elections being over: I'll be able to read my mail without sifting through hoards of leaflets containing pictures of politicians inanely grinning in front of hospitals.

6 months into my new home and I'm still learning what the garden has to offer. I'm particularly impressed by these kaleidoscopic tulips.

Dog owners are the worst thing about spending a lot of time on the canals. Apart from their inability to clean up after their dogs, the complete disrespect for wildlife, especially ground-nesting birds, angers me most. Compulsory leads on at all times please

Can't companies get anything right? Eon think we used £70 in gas in one day in a house we weren't living in, BT find installing broadband here more challenging than fusion energy and Ikea screwed up my order leaving me consigned to spend years on hold listening to FUCKING ABBA.

The Lovell telescope just now, observing a faint, 800,000 year old radio pulsar in the constellation of Scutum, that rotates once every half a second.
