    Emergency paid sick and family leave won't break the bank but it could save lives, keep families sane, and workplaces safe. Congress needs to act to prevent emergency leave from expiring in December. A helpful thread:

    This summer, dozens of Christian leaders urged Congress to extend and expand emergency paid leave for this pandemic. We are still waiting and the time is no better than now for Congress to take this up.

    It's nearly impossible to fight a pandemic without ample paid sick days. The emergency paid leave that enabled millions to quarantine, get tested will expire in December unless Congress acts.
