#HongKong’s success isn’t a case of what the govt did correctly but how we managed despite the govt. “Fight Virus Together,” Carrie Lam claimed. But it’s been clear who she’s targeting with social distancing rules in the name of public health.https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2020/05/how-hong-kong-beating-coronavirus/611524/ …

Of course, it's the citizens who have been stung by Beijing's ineptitude before. #CCPVirus

It's just a slight variation of #CCP's now infamous lie to "fight Japanese together" during WWII. Under that banner #CCP recruited a lot of new members who ended up full time stabing the back of those who were sacrificing themselves against Japanese army at the frontlines.

Very well written. Many just linked our distrust to China and #HKGov for the success but the info and resources networks for #HongKongProtest play a vital role too. As Carrie Lam wants to ease the border restrictions on China soon, we’ll stay vigilant while keep on fighting.

A comprehensive and accurate report! Obviously Carrie and her slaves are making use of #ChineseVirus to suppress our freedom as well as take revenge on Hongkongers.

I wouldn't say HKGov 100% inept. They did outpace many govs around the world w/ CV-19 response. But no doubt very much to do w/ relentless pressure by intelligent & determined community to take action. HKers response to CV-19 has been incredible! A reason to be very proud!

HK may have fewer cases than expected. But sadly what we ‘gained’ from fighting the pandemic cannot match what we actually lost. HK Gov has more suppression on freedom during the pandemic. Pro-Democratic leaders and dissidents were arrested and police violence never ends.

Hk is relatively success in fighting against covid-19 is becoz we do not trust hk govt, do not trust #WHO, do not trust #CCP & we have a group of professional medics that fight so hard demanding govt to close the borders! What did our puppet hk govt do against the new virus? Nth!
