    Here’s what it’s like to live in Wellington - friend in from out of town, left the house at 6:05 for 6:30 dinner reservations and picked her up on the way, parked in front, got to the restaurant early. It’s the WEIRDEST. It’s a small-town big city. 😍

    Kids in this case would be about 18 and 19, I think. Totally not into a relationship with her. Her husband is cheating on her with her "friend," and she's ready to chuck it all overboard and hook up with the hot handywoman on an island where her life really begins.

    My only personal view into this world is an amazing one - my sister is stepmom to a wonderful kid, and she and his dad and his mom have always been a united triad (BUT NOT THAT WAY) of support and love. The kid's a great adult now. So I don't know anything but this.

    Because I want to write a woman who has TRIED with these two boys, tried for such a long time, but they're almost grown, and they're uninteresting kids and don't care about her at all. Could she walk away from dad and boys without the reader hating her?
