        Some folks really ought to read what President Eisenhower actually said in his farewell address. While they are both critical of the military industrial complex, nowhere does Eisenhower actually accuse military leaders of engaging in shooting wars to boost profits for firms

        Since 45 is in this mood, we should take advantage. Cancel his UAE & Saudi arms deals. Relieve our soldiers who are stuck guarding oil belonging to Trump’s Middle Eastern donors. Cancel the contracts for legacy systems the military doesn’t even want, but Congress requires anyway.

        Of course, the Secretary of Defense is from Raytheon, the head of the EPA is from coal, the Sec of Education supports for-profit K-12 schools & colleges, HHS comes from pharmacy lobbying. The entire government under Trump is run by lobbyists.
