I see the need to know. The name makes sense. And yet, I feel that some of what I am seeing here are ears broken from statues and busts. Too literal?

In the not so distant past, Rome university students would break the noses off the busts of ancient philosophers, classical authors etc. that dot the Villa Borghese and other historic city parks - to serve as a good luck token for their exams.
