My guy, there's a poster above who explained in great detail why it couldn't be 1950s (without the condescension) but i have no qualms about being condescending: spray paint was patented in 1927.
There’s an amazing doc on her life- an odd duck, to say the least.

That photo couldn't have been taken any earlier than 1967. Here's how I can be sure: 1) Green relay mailboxes, which debuted in 1955, were stamped with their manufacturing dates. The date on the mailbox is 1967.

2) The car behind the mailbox is a late 1960s Dodge. I'm 90% certain it's a 1969 Dodge Coronet 440. In that case, those were on the market no earlier than 1968. Based on those 2 data points, this photo could easily be from the early 1970s.
