Me too! I'm also a helpless maiden dealing with snow for the first time. My sister, who does not condone this helpless BS and is Experienced, gave me her spare snow shovel. When I was using the shovel for the 1st time

(under cover of darkness, for privacy, but it didn't help), 2 fit passers-by offered to help, but I could not bring myself to accept their kindness. I shoveled my sidewalk & 1/4 of my driveway then went inside and took ibuprofen. The next morning it rained & the snow washed away.
