The helpless maiden went to the hardware store.
"I've never had to deal with snow before," he said. "Help me."
Three burly men clamored for his attention.
"I can't carry that big bag of rock salt on my bike," he said.
All three men offered to drive the maiden.

"But what would I do with my bike?" he said.
He packed a 20 lbs bag of salt in his pannier, rode off as the three burly men waved goodbye.
The helpless maiden rode his bicycle up the hill, braving snow and ice, feeling ever so butch.
OK, so it's an electric bike, but still.

Me too! I'm also a helpless maiden dealing with snow for the first time. My sister, who does not condone this helpless BS and is Experienced, gave me her spare snow shovel.
When I was using the shovel for the 1st time

(under cover of darkness, for privacy, but it didn't help), 2 fit passers-by offered to help, but I could not bring myself to accept their kindness. I shoveled my sidewalk & 1/4 of my driveway then went inside and took ibuprofen. The next morning it rained & the snow washed away.
