OK, good people. I'm giving a talk on political novels/art. So questions:
Do you think political novel in general are bad, and if so, why?
What makes a novel political and another not?
Can art and politics be separated, and if so, should they be?
Hit me!
Conversation
FWIW: I confess to not having read a novel in while and to being unsure what might constitute a 'political' novel. I find the notion that art and politics can be separated faintly ridiculous, though I'm not entire sure how I came to that view.

Not sure whether to take that as a compliment or condemnation. Often the way on Twitter. Anyway, I've learned muchly from your postings of images of paintings. Thank you.
