I’m ambivalent about the ban. I know it's not about first amendment, I know that he lies, incites violence (& sedition), yet something about a corporation deciding what information is okay to disseminate doesn't sit right with me. Don't shoot me. I'm happy and wary. Ambivalent.

I'm sympathetic to your view, but at this point, I think we've overweighed theoretical concerns at the cost of real damage to our society. Maybe some time in the future, we will regret this moment, but I believe the immediate threat warrants the ban.

Also, I should say, even though I don't know you personally. Based on your posts, I can tell you are thoughtful and intelligent; your concerns give me extra reason to pause.
