Airfoil. It provides downward pressure to keep the rear of the car from floating up off the road.

I might be mistaken, but I understand airfoils to be very advanced spoilers used to deflect air in very specific ways in F1. They work along spoilers. This is knowledge from a past life btw...

In my day it was called a spoiler. Though as time went I heard younger people refer to it as a Wing, Foil, and so on.
