Is Chelsea a football team or a money-laundering organization?
Conversation
I feel like this is a trick question, in that choosing the obvious answer, you respond "Ha! Wrong! It's a football team!" and then you produce examples for why, like they score goals, and win Cup championships.

The obvious answer to the question is "Yes."
But then as I watch them play, they don't look like a team!

They're a money laundering operation, even if most of the money has been laundered a while ago.

It's still going on. The amount of money being spent right now is mind-boggling.
Yes, but it's not coming directly from Abramovich, who now owns players in different clubs, and deals them as he had once upon a time dealt rubber duckies in the Moscow metro. He has, as they say, diversified.
