That is a powerful statement, it’s spot on, and I pray this country understands how incredibly important it is to choose and vote for a candidate that is not only wise, but possesses the type of integrity that always puts the needs of the people first.

The US is experiencing it,since they wouldn’t believe historians, researchers, political scientists, ..., and just about anyone with common sense.
Buddhism has an analogous appraisal, for all levels of our suffering: its roots are ignorance (avidya, related to our "non-vision") conjoined with desire (trsna, related to our "thirst"). When our vision is occluded, yet we seek self-centered desire-fulfillment, suffering comes.
