They had sides of beef in a room-sized, glass-walled refrigerator for you to walk past on your way in. Dead cows hanging on hooks as you wait for your table. Honestly, they were my first step in becoming vegetarian.

It was horrid, but I have to thank them for showing me what meat looks like before it gets to your plate. As a side note, do you have any tips, or can you point me in the direction of, a good recipe for moudammas?? I tried to make it tonight, and...it did not turn out well.
