I don't know anything about these images. I assume they're from a Russian manuscript, but can't tell. The switching of roles is wonderful.

Thank you. It does look old, probably over 400 years, which makes the content quite suprising.
What I've found: Russian. Copper engraving, coloring book. The end of the XVIII century. Collection D.Rovinsky. The theme: "Mundus Perversus" or "Topsy-Turvy World". Probably borrowed from French engravings of the time.
