this must be some other cereal (but it is true the shape evokes maize)

when in the Middle East (or Europe) I enjoy of course many flavors of great food
but maize, real maize, is the flavor I completely miss when there
maize as in real Mexican tortillas, Colombian arepas, Peruvian humitas... that flavor is impossible to find in Europe or the Levant
