I didn't like it, k.d. Although it's sad that the worst kind of hypocrites call themselves Christians, the symbol of the sacrifice is powerful. It's also a symbol of connecting the universal and the singular.

If you look upwards, while in front of it, you see the conventional crucifix. If you look sideways, you see the gap. It reminds me of the interpretation that the crucifixion was an illusion. Maybe a way to convey transcendence.
